 Hi Jackie,

I received the garnet today. It is just the same as it appeared in the picture and it is stunningly beautiful.  I have never seen a garnet I liked half so well.  It is my birthstone and I have worn garnets nearly all of my life (my mother is a great believer in people wearing their birthstones).  I don't even feel right without one, now.  My last garnet ring disappeared without a trace and I had begun to feel bereft without a garnet on my finger. Thank you so much for the beautiful glowing gumdrop garnet! I could not possibly be more pleased.

There's just one problem: it make's my Pigeon Blood Burmese Ruby look
pretty pale! (At daytime that is: in artificial light the ruby lights up
like no other stone can;-).
